I have worked for Alphabet House for over 20 years firstly as a playworker and nursery nurse. I then managed our afterschool club and now I’m the manager of the nursery. I would consider myself a friendly, enthusiastic and approachable person with 3 older children of my own and so understand all the joys and problems of being a parent. I am a highly professional person who easily builds rapport with staff, children and parents with ease. I am committed to quality in all areas of the nursery with a high level of motivation and enthusiasm, ensuring a high standard of play, learning, development and care.

We are a 70-place nursery, and we cater for children ages 3 months to 5 years. As a nursery we endeavour to work in partnership with parents and carers after all parents are children’s first educators. Our dedicated trained and experienced team acknowledge that the child is at the centre of everything we do. We believe that children are more than capable of having some control over the way they learn as well as providing direction and structure for the staff to extend the interests and opportunities to provide an effective and meaningful environment.
